- @patloika Is it a TOP SECRET new project? #
- @acomicbookgirl Hell no! That’s some gorgeous Lark and Guadiano art there. And Rucka’s presence was know, I think. (I haven’t read FC yet) #
- @T_Rack Thanks for the feedback. I always de-amplify(?) the music. Not sure why this week was different. ‘preciate it! #
- @T_Rack whew!
# - @T_Rack Thanks. It’s a shame everything went down the way it did. #
- @comicbooknoise Yeah, I’ll be using them again. #
- @T_Rack InStockTrades uses Diamond. At least DCBS does, and it’s the same company. #
- @comicbooknoise ah, crap #

- @chriseaton Really? You’re getting your books today? #
- @mbreitweiser That is an awesome Hal! And pre-promotion in the Corps, too. I love it! #

- Way too hot upstairs to record (can’t close the door and Renee has the bedroom door open). Gonna have to cram it all in in the morning. #
- @comicbooknoise It’s possible all I have to do is wait until payday for that to become a reality. #
- @ChrisPartin I’ll take that! If the missus wasn’t asleep, I’d muddle through it. That’s okay, gives me time to finalize a few things. #
- @ChrisPartin You obviously have never listened to the show. There are no signs of one that’s prepared. #
- @comicbooknoise It’s been awhile since I bought myself something. It’s been awhile since Renee’s been able to suggest I buy myself something #
- @ChrisPartin You are too, too kind. #
- @swierczy YES!!! #
- Happy birthday, @Dan_C_ !! #
- Recorded my ramblings on remembering Heroes World (and Capital City) for Marvel Noise 36. Not my best work, methinks. #
- Voting is still open! Choose an Iron Man Annual from the 80s for an upcoming Marvel Tales. #
- Thinking about changing my work hours. Getting here for a noon start isn’t as easy as it used to be. #
- That’s great, @Bruce_R ! I’m gonna be jealous for a couple more days. #
- Guilty pleasure #28: George Michael’s Freedom! 90 #
- @SCederlund I was so clueless back then. Years later, I understand the lyrics. I are doofus. #
- @acomicbookgirl Too many too skinny women in the video. #

- @_eldave_ The recent Sandman would look killer in B&W. Check out Bogey’s and Bacall’s Big Sleep #
- @jbacardi I dig the cartoon. I DVR new episodes. I haven’t done that for any other cartoon. #

- @Hulk_Smash Well, I’m happy to help on the former. Don’t believe the latter. #
- The last installment (Ep. 34)? Mark Bright (before he was known as M.D. Bright or Mark ‘Doc’ Bright) on pencils, Mike Gustovich on inks. #
- @T_Rack Last tweet was for you (about Mark Bright and Falcon). Paul Smith did pencils on the fist issue. #
- Sorry, @T_Rack, that should be Ep. 35, not 34 #
- Had a nice lunch with Renee. Now at the nursey looking at impatiens. #
- My beautiful wife is gettin’ down and funky to the Alvin & the Chipmunks soundtrack. #
- @T_Rack I suppose we do. But this is a sight to behold… #
- @_eldave_ I had a Jack Daniels burger for lunch. Soooo good. Seasoning a London broil to grill this weekend. #
- @T_Rack Yeah, like I want the crap kicked outta me! But I’ll do what I can. #

Just Some Friday Notes
This week we started our summer hours at work. So my mornings are a little shorter and other tasks need to be rescheduled. It hasn’t been a bad week, though, so I guess things are looking up. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get some Marvel preview pages up later today on the Marvel Noise site. Speaking of Marvel Noise, here’s the info on this week’s thirty-fifth episode:
There’s a little bit of everything for everyone from everybody. First, some items of note about the week’s new releases followed by a twist on the Bring ‘em Back segment by Backwards Dave and Mike Sims with the Mighty Marvel Movie Minute. Carlos calls in with his thoughts on the Iron Man movie and Guardians of the Galaxy and mentions Jim Starlin, while Adam’s Marvel Unbound installment focuses on Marvels by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross. Finally, Pat
Loika breaks down some highlights from Secret Invasion #2 and tie-ins Mighty Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four, Captain Britain & MI:13.
Comics mentioned this week include Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers Classic, Incredible Hercules, Wolverine: Origins, and X-Men: Divided We Stand.
Get it here.
Discuss this episode on the Marvel Noise forum.
And the show notes for 11 O’Clock Comics Episode 4:
It’s all hands on deck as we discuss Vertigo’s new House of Mystery, Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files #2, Gene Colan, Jeff Parker, fill-in artists, silliness (or lack thereof) within Marvel’s Secret Invasion, ‘76, Millar and Hitch’s Fantastic Four, Jay Faerber’s Gemini and Noble Causes, the Horus Heresy, Crawlspace: XXXombies, the Larsenverse, Invincible and Atom Eve, beer, and much more!
Have a safe holiday weekend, everybody.
